Testberichte
- Ordentliche Bildqualität
- Touchscreen
- Schwacher Akku
- langsame Serienbildfunktion
Videoton manuell aussteuerbar. ...

The LUMIX DMC-G3 doesn't disappoint when it comes to image quality. It can capture very clear images and it's a fun camera to use. It's a compact camera that's a lot easier to carry around that a digital SLR, yet it still offers similar functionality.
- Clear image quality
- Very good focusing
- Swift performance
- What you see on the screen is not always what you yet
- Video capturing is choppy
The LUMIX DMC-G3 doesn't disappoint when it comes to image quality. It can capture very clear images and it's a fun camera to use. It's a compact camera that's a lot easier to carry around that a digital SLR, yet it still offers similar functionality.
- Refined design
- Very good image quality
- Touchscreen interface better than that on the G2
- No sensor to automatically switch between EVF and LCD
- Short battery life
The G3 is a great addition to the already-strong range of Panasonic interchangeable lens cameras, with a few notable omissions holding it back from being top notch. ...
- Dreh- und schwenkbares Touch-Display
- Hervorragende Bildqualität
- Schneller Autofokus
- Toller optischer Sucher
- Schwacher Akku
- Much smaller than a dSLR
- Interchangeable lenses
- Great image quality
- Viewfinder plus fold-out LCD panel
- You have to flit between the touchscreen and physical controls
The Micro Four Thirds system is relatively new. It was developed by Panasonic and Olympus in a bid to make smaller alternatives to a dSLR that offered similar image quality and features. Micro Four Thirds cameras do away with the mirror and light box that you'll find taking up space inside most viewfinder-based dSLRs, which helps to reduce the bulk considerably.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 Micro Four Thirds camera is easy to recommend. It offers the performance and versatility of a digital SLR in a scaled-down form, without ramping up the price.
The Lumix G3 is the latest model in Panasonic's compact, DSLR-like Micro Four Thirds range. It's considerably smaller and lighter than its predecessor the G2 and sports an all-new 16MP sensor, the same super-fast autofocus system as used by the GH2, a 3-inch articulated monitor that offers responsive touch-screen control over the camera, and Full HD movie recording capabilities.
Overall, we’re mightily impressed by the specifications, performance and overall image quality of the G3. There are a couple of niggling omissions but nonetheless we’re confident enough to say that it’s Panasonic’s best G-series model yet. If you're looking to buy into the micro system camera genre, you should definitely consider the G3.
- hervorragende Bildqualität
- sehr schnell
- gelungener Kontrollbildschirm
- gute Verarbeitung
- schickes Design
- teuer
- Friendly and approachable even when compared to a mid range DSLR
- lighting fast response times
- smaller
- lighter yet more feature packed than its G2 predecessor, vari angle LCD monitor plus high resolution EVF alternative
- Nit-picking really: handgrip slightly compromised to achieve overall small-ish form factor, we’d have liked an eye sensor for swapping between EVF and LCD, loss of highlight detail under sunnier skies, high-ish price for anyone trading up from a point and shoot for the first time
Available in black, red and white in the UK (and “chocolate” in Europe), this new DSLR-styled, mid-range Micro Four Thirds compact system camera (CSC) slots between last year’s DMC-G2 - which drops down to become the entry-level model in the Lumix range, replacing the existing DMC-G10 - and the semi pro-spec DMC-GH2, announced at the start of the year. ...
A compact camera that looks like a DSLR, handles like a DSLR-cum-compact, and delivers images a close second to a DSLR with physically larger sensor and lens. For the convenience factor alone many will consider the G3 a “compromise” worth making and be more than happy with the results
- Super-fast autofocus
- built-in EVF
- small size
- Poor battery life
- EVF performance in low light
- touchscreen should be more sensitive
Here at What Digital Camera we've been lucky enough to be handed a boxed-up Panasonic Lumix G3 straight from the production line. Ahead of its summer-time release, we've got the full inside info on what to expect from the Panasonic G3's release.
The Lumix G3 has a whole lot to like: it's small (but not too miniature), neatly designed, has superb autofocus speed, a vari-angle LCD and decent built-in electronic viewfinder.
