... Bei 28mm erscheint in der Bildmitte zwar offen scharf und kontrastreich, zu den Rändern fallen Auflösung und Kontrast aber sichtbar ab. Abblenden hebt die Leistung deutlich an und führt zu einem Plus bis in die Bildecken. ...

Für Nikon - "... Dank seines Alters ist das Objektiv mit 360 Euro auch noch erfreulich günstig. Allerdings ist auch die Technik nicht mehr ganz auf dem neuesten Stand. Statt eines Ultraschall-AFs die im Test allerdings genausogut abschneidet wie die USD-Version des Testsiegers. Auch auf einen Bildstabilisator muss der Käufer verzichten. Die Objektivgüte dagegen überzeugt größtenteils, lediglich in Mittelstellung treten sichtbare chromatische Aberrationen auf.
