Für einen ersten Versuch ist die QX100 durchaus gelungen, der hohe Preis und die genannten Kinderkrankheiten sind allerdings Punkte, an denen Sony noch arbeiten muss. Hoffentlich überzeugt der Nachfolger dann umso mehr, zu wünschen wäre es dem spannenden und mutigen Konzept ohne Frage.
Die Objektivkamera ist ein interessantes Konzept. Sie lässt sich relativ schnell einrichten, ist aber im alltäglichen Gebrauch etwas unflexibel: Schnappschüsse sollte man damit nicht planen. Die Qualität der Bilder steht hingegen außer Frage: Mit 20 Megapixeln, einem F 1,8 Carl-Zeiss Objektiv und dem Sony Exmor CMOS Sensor (Typ 1.0) liefert die Kamera wirklich tolle Bilder ab, die farbtreu, kontrastreich und lebendig wirken.

There's no doubt that the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX100 is an innovative product, but at S$649, it is not for everyone. [...] While the QX100 captures great images, until Sony finds a way to make it easier to use with a smartphone, it's hard to wholeheartedly recommend this camera accessory to phone photographers, for now.
