Zusammenfassung
In der AV-Receiver-Spitzenklasse ab 2.000 Euro kommt es auf jedes Detail an - und auf die Philosophie. Pioneers 2.300 Euro teurer Bolide SC-LX 82 konzentriert sich nicht so sehr auf jeden erdenklichen Ausstattungsschnickschnack sondern in erster Linie auf das Wichtigste: den Ton. Und das hört man auch.
Fazit
Die konsequente Auslegung auf die bestmögliche Tonqualität hat sich bezahlt gemacht: Der Pioneer SC-LX 82 klingt sensationell gut und verfügt über große Leistungsreserven. Lediglich bei der Videoverarbeitung hat Pioneer geschludert - ärgerlich, dass sich HDMI-Video nicht skalieren lässt und analoge Videosignale fehlerhaft gewandelt werden. Wer das Skalieren sowieso anderen Geräten überlässt, bekommt einen Top-Receiver mit sensationellem Klang.

Almost two years ago, Pioneer introduced its monstrous new flagship receiver, the Susano, and while it was very well-received, many people balked at its S$9,999 tag. So we were quite excited to hear of the new "Son of Susano", a step-down model priced at the much more affordable S$4,299. It may miss the Susano's full-color screen and even more towering size, but as we found, this is still an outstanding piece of equipment.

If you like your movies as much as you fancy your music then you desperately need to get your hands on the Pioneer SC-LX82 receiver. What it doesn't do, you don't need.

Fazit
The only other niggle we had with the Pioneer was that there is little control over video options. For example, you can't access the video menu while using an HDMI source. The only choice with a video connection is a choice of video convert (upscaling) on or off. For the record, we didn't see that the Pioneer added any additional artefacts to either digital or analog video and so this lack of control isn't too much of a problem.
