Trotz einer nicht perfekten Bildqualität, die im Vergleich zu anderen Kompaktkameras aber gut dasteht, und kleinen Kritikpunkten an der Bedienung überzeugt die Panasonic Lumix FT4 mit ihrer Widerstandsfähigkeit. Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FT4 is a tough camera that's designed for the great outdoors. It supplies decent enough image quality for a camera of its type and it even packs in features such as GPS tagging and a panorama scene mode. It's easy to use for the most part, although its screen can be hard to view when shooting outdoors on a sunny day. All up though, a good camera to choose before embarking on some adventurous photography.

Die Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT4 ist eine sehr gute Outdoor-Kamera, die mit einfacher Bedienung, solider Leistung und vergleichsweise vielen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten überzeugt. Allerdings hat sich im direkten Vergleich zur Vorgängerin nicht besonders viel getan - für Besitzer der FT3 lohnt sich der Umstieg definitiv nicht.

Die Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT4 ist eine gute, robuste Kamera für Abenteurer: stoßfest, staubgeschützt und wasserdicht. Laut Anbieter wasserdicht bis 12 m, stoßfest bis 2 m Fallhöhe. Kleiner Bildchip mit 12 Megapixel (Normalbrennweite: 9 mm). Relativ teuer. Macht insgesamt gute Bilder (Note: 2,3). Gute Farbwiedergabe. Verwacklungsschutz sehr wirkungsvoll. Eindruck im Sehtest: noch gut. Bei wenig Licht nur befriedigend, immerhin mit Tendenz zum Gut.
