Fazit
Mit Kapazitäten von bis zu 1,0 Terabyte und Preisen von 70 Euro für die 120-GByte-Variante über 125 Euro für das hier getestete 250-GByte-Modell bis hin zu 450 Euro für die 1,0-TByte-Version dürfte es für jeden Anspruch und Geldbeutel eine entsprechende Samsung SSD 840 Evo geben ...

Fazit
... Mit Turbo-Write und dem Software-gestützten Paket aus Tuning- und Optimierungssoftware gibt es einen spürbaren Performance-Schub gegenüber der eher durchschnittlich schnellen Basic-Reihe. Zwar läuft vieles auf Caching-Tricks hinaus, doch für den normalen Gebrauch, bei den eben nicht hunderte von Gigabyte am Stück geschrieben werden, ist das ein sinnvoller Ansatz, welcher dem Kunden die Beschleunigung liefert, die er erwartet.
