Die Samsung 980 Pro hat einige kleine Schwächen, die eine bessere Platzierung verhindern. Auch ihr fehlt der Kühlkörper.
Mit der Samsung 980 Pro in der Variante mit 500 GByte Kapazität ist der Hersteller annähernd gleich schnell oder klar schneller als die Konkurrenz. Der Preis ist zudem gut.
Zwar ist die Leistung der 980 Pro mit 1TByte etwas geringer, der Gigabyte-Preis von rund 24 Cent ist aber deutlich attraktiver als der vom Schwestermodell mit halber Speichergröße (500 GByte).
