A few minor improvements and huge battery life make this a better phone than the Z1, but it's not enough to make it stand out from the competition.

With the Xperia Z2, Sony has corrected a good deal of the issues encountered on the Xperia Z1, given it an even more sophisticated design and included just as many outstanding extra features, all without overcrowding the phone. It's a responsive device in all circumstances, even with intensive usage. It's just too bad the camera is a little slow and has the same lens issues as on previous models, making it not quite the all-circumstances camera it's made out to be.
