Dass es sich beim Nokia Lumia 610 um ein Windows Phone 7 im Einsteiger-Segment handelt, wird schnell klar, wenn es um das Thema mäßige Schnelligkeit des Internet Browsers oder ruckelige Navigation im Marketplace geht. 256 RAM Arbeitsspeicher und ein 800-Megahertz-Prozessor sind eben auch für das ressourcensparende Windows Phone 7,5 etwas wenig. Das Scrollen durch die Startseiten und Menü-Einträge läuft hingegen sehr flüssig. Überzeugen konnten im Test sowohl die Optik als auch die brillante Displaywiedergabe des Lumia 610. Sehr gut funktioniert hat ebenso die Spracherkennungssoftware, während die Kamera nur eine mittelmäßige Aufnahmequalität bescherte. Insgesamt eignet sich das Nokia Lumia 610 gut für jene Nutzer, die ihr Smartphone hauptsächlich zum Telefonieren und ab und zu mal Chatten oder Web-Surfen nutzen möchten, dabei aber nicht auf das Windows-Phone-Betriebssystem und eine schicke Optik verzichten wollen.
