Testberichte
Google and LG have done a fantastic job with the Nexus 5, producing a very desirable phone at an outrageously low price. It's the best value-for-money smartphone out there right now. Note: Google is set to launch the Nexus 5X on 29 September.
- Excellent value
- Great performance
- Decent low-light camera performance
- Excellent screen
- Non-expandable memory
- Camera tends to overexpose
- Mediocre battery life
The Google Nexus 5 is the high-end Android phone bargain of the year. Aside from a slightly anaemic battery it offers everything phones costing £200 more do.

- Great screen
- Low price
- Blazing performance
- Lackluster camera
- Inconsistent battery life
Although the issues we take with the Nexus 5 are considerable, they're not enough to keep us from recommending this device.
- - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
- - Google-Software
- - Akkulaufzeit
- - Kamerasensor
- - Monolautsprecher
- - leistungsstarke CPU bietet klasse Performance
- - starke Akkulaufzeiten
- ...
- - kein erweiterbarer Speicher
- - nur teilweise mit einer Hand bedienbar
- - Akku fest verbaut
- - wenig Lieferumfang
- Sprint Spark LTE support
- Fast next-generation CPU and GPU
- Beautiful full HD display
- Android is better than ever with 4.4.1 "KitKat," and the camera is much improved
- Solid battery life
- Hardware still isn't quite class-leading on all fronts
Sprint's Google Nexus 5 remains a blazing-fast, pure Android smartphone with support for the company's budding Spark LTE network, but it's not as good a deal as its unlocked counterpart.

Just as with the Nexus 4, Google is making life difficult for its competitors. The 16-GB version of this smartphone can be had for just 350 Euros (~$475). For a doubled capacity of 32 GB, a price increase of 50 Euros (~$75) is in order. Both storage variants are available in black and white. ...
- Top Preis-LeistungsverhältnisTestsiegel Google Nexus 5
- Schneller Prozessor
- Tolles Display

- Price makes it fantastic value for money
- powerful
- quad-core processor
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- slim and neat

- "OK Google, your voice activation and navigation make for a great Bluetooth co-pilot in my car. Auto-just-about-everything, from photo and video editing, to letting me know the latest scores. Simply the best reading and video viewing experience there is on a handset, period, the end. The price is nice for an unlocked device."

- Excellent, Full HD display

... From our short time spent with the Nexus 5 it appears as though LG has lost none of that knack, creating a seamless Google experience that feels fresh even if KitKat isn't the overhaul that Apple's iOS 7 might have been. To be truly sure though we'll need to spend more time it, so stay tuned for our full Nexus 5 review.

The Nexus range has taken a real step forward here. The Nexus 4 was a great option for those that don't want to spend a lot, but the handset really began to creak after too long. The Nexus 5, while a little later in the year compared to the other top-end handsets, seems to be a lot more bullet-proof in terms of being able to carry on chugging for a couple of years....
