Testberichte
- Helles HD-Display
- LTE
- gute Performance
- SD-Karten-Slot
- Kein Ladegerät mitgeliefert
- schwache Kamera

- Very good build-quality
- The responsiveness and fluidity are worthy of a premium smartphone
- Decent multimedia functions
- The in-call sound quality
- The screen's contrast and brightness, but they could be improved
- Photo capture
- Battery life could be better
The first Moto G might have offered the best value and performance for the money, but its successor comes up short. Despite this, it's still a very good smartphone: it has a decent HD screen, build-quality is good and so is the media player. The device provides excellent responsiveness. However, for a slightly lower price, you can find equivalent models with 4G connectivity, such as the ZTE Grand S Flex.
- One of the best entry-level phones money can buy
- Bigger size aids visuals
- Better camera
- Lack of 4G
- Processor upgrade would have been nice
Motorola’s unwillingness to increase the new Moto G’s numerical value hints at the fact that this isn’t the type of upgrade we’re accustomed to. ...
- Inexpensive
- Large display
- Runs nearly stock Android with promise of speedy updates
- Memory card slot
- ...
- No LTE
- Larger display is less sharp than first generation
- No processor upgrades
- ...
Though it still lacks LTE, the second-generation Motorola Moto G grows up and gets a few welcome upgrades without sacrificing the high-quality experience and low price of its predecessor.
As with the hardware, there's nothing much to write home about when it comes to the software. The Moto G (2nd Gen.) runs the latest version of Android and, as per Motorola's recent strategy, it's clean Android 4.4 (KitKat) with only a few extras sprinkled on the top. Motorola's Assist, Alert and Migrate apps all come preloaded, and there's a guaranteed upgrade to Android L later in the year.

- Solid smartphone design and construction
- Very low full price with no-contract
- microSD memory expansion
- Dual front facing stereo speakers
- Decent 8 megapixel rear camera
- Non-removable battery
- Larger form factor
- No LTE support
The new Moto G offers up some nice improvements over last year’s model and I am pretty surprised they were able to still keep the price under $200. As long as people can accept the larger size, I think the Moto G will again be an extremely popular smartphone for the masses who don’t want to pay three to nearly five times this amount for a new iPhone 6 model....
Now available with 4G, the Moto G is an incredible bargain that punches well above its weight and is still the best budget smartphone around.
Bestes der Günstigen. Gutes Display. Schwache Kamera macht schwache Bilder bei geringer Beleuchtung. ...
- Geniales Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
- Lange Akkulaufzeit
- Zeitnahe OS-Updates
- Verhältnismäßig schwer und dick
- Akku fix verbaut
- Speicher nicht erweiterbar
A high-quality budget Android handset with an excellent screen and long battery life.
- Jaw-dropping value
- Great screen
- Great performance
- Camera just OK
- No microSD slot
The Motorola Moto G is one of the best phones of the year, and the first time we’ve seen a phone of this calibre launch at under £200 SIM-free. That it’s so much cheaper than £200 is a minor miracle. This phone deserves to sell by the bucketload.
- gefälliges Design und gute Verarbeitung
- günstiger Preis
- brillantes und helles HD-Display
- intuitive und einfache Bedienung
- ...
- sehr wenig interner Speicher
- kein Slot für Speicherkarten
- fest verbauter Akku
- kein LTE und NFC
- üppiges Gewicht und hohe Bauform
- Crisp IPS screen
- Excellent gaming performance
- Latest Android Kitkat
- Great music output
- Good battery life
- Questionable call quality
- Disappointing camera
- Shoddy bundled accessories
The Moto G is currently the only budget handset to run Kitkat. It offers snappy user experience, and excellent multimedia performance. Moreover, it’s a handy phone with a sharp HD IPS screen.
- - Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
- - Display
- - Akkulaufzeit
- - Android & Apps
- - Kein MicroSD-Slot
- High density screen
- Dual-SIM
- Well priced
- Limited availability
- No 4G LTE
- No NFC
Under Google's watch Motorola has managed to deliver one of the best value-for-money smartphones on the market today. It is wonderfully styled, has powerful innards and offers the money-saving advantages of a dual-SIM smartphone.
- Best value for money on the market
- Excellent build
- Responsiveness and fluidity worthy of a high-end phone
- HD display has a clean, natural image
- ...
- Non-expandable memory
- No 32 GB model for multimedia lovers
- Sound quality from speaker
- Mediocre camera (video + stills)
The Moto G hits hard for a handset of this price. It has a great screen and a responsive interface; you'd almost forget it's a budget phone. The camera and storage are always there to remind you of its caste, but otherwise it's a rare feat for an entry-level smartphone. ...
- Great value
- Decent screen
- Slick interface
- Android 4.4
- Poor camera
- No expandable memory
- Low internal storage
- No NFC or 4G
Motorola is back folks, it's official. It may not be the return I would have predicted - there's no flagship phone stuffed full of the latest tech - but arguably what the now Google-owned firm has done is even better. The Moto G is a top notch, low cost smartphone and I wholeheartedly recommend this as the best budget mobile currently on the market. I was genuinely impressed with the feature set on the Moto G, so if you're looking for a low cost phone you can stop searching - just go out and grab a Moto G right now.

- Extrem günstiger Preis
- Top-Ausstattung
- Performance
- Speicher nicht erweiterbar
- Sehr günstiger Preis
- Solide Ausstattung
- Fast reines Android, schnelle Updates
- Hochauflösendes Display
- Gute Verarbteitung
- ...
- Kein erweiterbarer Speicher
- Etwas schwer
- Fest verbauter Akku
- Excellent build quality and speed for the price
- KitKat upgrade coming
- Plenty of internal storage
- No LTE
- No microSD card slot
- Poor camera
The Moto G is the best-built, unlocked smartphone under $200 available today.
- The Motorola Moto G is extremely affordable, unlocked, and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The phone is compact and has premium build quality that belies its low price. The Moto G’s speakers pack lots of volume.
- The processor is slow, and the phone comes with a maximum of 16GB of storage and no LTE. The phone’s screen is dim and lacks contrast and vivid colors. The Moto G’s camera takes blurry photos without much detail.
You can't beat the price of the Moto G, but the more expensive and more powerful Nexus 5 remains your shrewdest unlocked Android option.
- Scharfes, helles Display
- Flinkes Arbeitstempo
- Ausdauernder Akku
- Naturbelassenes Android 4.3
- Klasse Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
- Speicher klein und nicht erweiterbar
- Kein LTE, kein NFC
- Derzeit unschlagbares Preis/Leistungsverhältnis (+1.5%)
- Im Alltag nahezu flüssig
- Selbst in Spielen schnell
- Starker Akku
- Kein Headset dabei (-0.5%)
- An absolute bargain at $180 unconnected
- Stock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean/Android 4.4 KitKat
- Fast, capable processor
- 4.5-inch, 720p screen is just about perfect
- Excellent battery life
- The camera is basic
- A choice of 8GB or 16GB of memory
- No removable battery
- External speaker has to be cranked up to hear
The Moto G is the bargain of the year. It refuses to look, act or feel like a cheap phone, and out-performs more expensive phones. The only letdown is its small amount of internal memory, and basic camera.
- Optik und Haptik
- Verarbeitungsqualität
- Individualisierbarkeit (Austauschhüllen und magnetische Cover)
- Preis
- Kamera
- Gorgeous screen
- powerful processor
- sturdy build
- good battery life
- budget price
- A bit chunky
- no 4G
- no expandable memory
The Moto G is essentially a pretty decent mid-spec phone but it's the budget price that makes it really special. ...
- Ordentliches Preisleistungsverhältnis
- Starker Akku
- Scharfes Display
- Wenig interner Speicher
- Unspektakuläres Design
Gelungene Rückkehr
Einschätzung der Redaktion
- Ausgezeichnetes HD-Display
- Starke Hardware
- Aktuellste Android-Version mit Update-Garantie
- Preis-Leistungs-Knaller
- Speicher nicht erweiterbar
- Akku fest verbaut
