Schwarz und gut. Beim Design ließen sich die Kanadier nicht viel einfallen. Statt optische Akzente zu setzten ist die Technik in einem äußerst schlichten, schwarzen Kasten gehüllt – nennen wir es einmal wohlwollend ein elegantes Understatement. Einzig die gummierte Rückseite ist eine Nennung wert. Nicht zuletzt, da es sich um ein geschlossenes System ohne SIM- und Speicherkarten-Slot handelt, wirkt die Verarbeitungsqualität wie aus einem Guss – Spaltmasse ist hier ein absolutes Fremdwort. Der Touchscreen passt sich erwartungsgemäß der allgemeinen Kompaktheit des Gerätes an, wobei die Dimension aber zum komfortablen Surfen dicke ausreicht. Die Darstellungsqualität ist insgesamt unspektakulär, aber auf alle Fälle zeitgemäß gut, zumal keine Pixel erkennbar sind.
