- Wide-angle and telephoto cameras with OIS
- Aperture control available on wide-angle lens
- Camera's intelligent scene detection
- Samsung S-Pen with Bluetooth
- ...
- Large size
- Limited ISO range
- Rear glass is a fingerprint magnet
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 offers the largest screen, the latest camera, and the unique Samsung S-Pen, which provides some useful advantages, both when using the phone, and when taking photos. The phone is large, with a 6.4inch screen, but for those who like the Samsung Galaxy Note series, this will be welcomed. There's a wide-angle camera, as well as a 2x telephoto camera, both with OIS, and results are excellent.

A big smartphone with a big price tag. It won't suit all, but the improved Note 9 is one Samsung's best efforts yet
- sehr lange Akkulaufzeit
- hohe Verarbeitungsqualität
- S-Pen mit Bluetooth
- Fingerabdrucksensor schwer erreichbar
The Galaxy Note 9 ist the best Samsung phone can buy right now, but it's also oddly the most niche. If you don't want all its expensive features such as the S-Pen and huge 6.4 in display, then the standard S9 will suit you for around £ 300 less. But the Note 9 is supremely powerful with every feature you could hope for, stellar battery life, slick design and amazing cameras. In the world of £1,000 phones, it's as good as the iPhone X but a different beast. If its productivity features and niche software suits you, you'll love it - but it isn't for everyone despite its excellence.
- Pfeilschneller Prozessor
- Massig Speicher
- Erstklassige Dual-Kamera
- Praktische, neue Stiftfunktionen

- Gorgeous display
- Stereo speakers nail down the immersion factor (especially with Dolby Atmos)
- Decent battery life
- S Pen is a very handy tool (taking notes, translate, selective screenshot, etc.)
- S Pen doubles as a remote for the device
- Camera performs admirably
- It has a 3.5mm audio jack
- A variety of ways to unlock your phone (Biometrics)
- Improved Bixby, even has a dedicated Bixby button
- Fingerprint magnet
- Rather slippery / awkward to hold
- At 4000mAh capacity, battery life could be better
- It gets warm easily
- Intelligent Scan can be kinda finicky
- Exynos 9810 loses out to Snapdragon 845 in a lot of areas
- It's either Dual-SIM support or MicroSD, not both
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a pretty good device. However, it is not designed for everyone. It all boils down to your needs and budget in a smartphone. ...

- hoher Preis
- Kamera schwächelt bei wenig Licht
- Glorious, huge screen
- excellent cameras
- new S Pen is very handy
- lots of power and speed
- Battery life is still just average
- Bixby isn't a contender yet
Another top phone from Samsung; It's expensive, but earns that price by oozing quality from (almost) every feature.
A king-class mobile device with absolutely every feature and then some, and specs maxed-out to the limit.
With the Galaxy Note 9, Samsung delivers a great business phablet again – this time with a big battery.
- Great screen, great specs, great camera
- S Pen has some cool new tricks.
- Giant battery means it'll last through most days.
- It's expensive.
- It still runs Android Oreo and probably will for a while.
- Bixby isn't as good as Google Assistant and you can't turn off the button any more.
Samsung isn’t just selling you a phone for $1,000, it’s selling you a do-it-all machine. It’s not a stretch to say the Note 9 is the most powerful and capable Android phone ever made. But all that power comes at a price, both literally and figuratively. ...

- Herausragende Kamera
- Brillantes Display
- Smarter S-Pen nun noch smarter
- Hervorragende Stereo-Lautsprecher

- Beautiful 6.4-inch Infinity Display
- Great camera, even in low-light
- Battery and storage last and last
- Very Expensive
- Not much innovation
- No HDR video recording
Bigger than previous Note phones in every way, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a larger 6.4-inch screen, heftier 4,000mAh battery, and a massive 512GB of storage option. The camera is slightly better and the Bluetooth-connected S Pen can activate fun customizable shortcuts remotely. But its price matches (and even tops) what you’ll pay for an iPhone X. ...

- helles, scharfes und farbenfrohes Display
- lange Akkulaufzeit
- hohe Verarbeitungsqualität
- neue S-Pen-Funktionen gering
- The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a big, beautiful phone with top-tier specs including a massive battery and internal storage that starts at 128GB.
- The new S Pen doubles as a wireless remote for taking long-distance selfies.
- It's expensive and offers few real innovations over last year's Note 8.
- The fingerprint reader is uncomfortably close to the camera.
The ultrapricey Note 9 is one of the year's best phones. But unless you're in dire need of an upgrade, the smart move is to wait for what the next iPhone, Pixel and even Galaxy S10 bring.
- Long battery life
- Gorgeous large 6.4 inch display
- Fantastic S Pen experience
- Outstanding RF performance and high call quality
- Solid DeX capability with no extra hardware required
- Launches with Android Oreo
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is fantastic and it's been a while since I've been this excited about a phone. I plan to use the Note 9 as my daily driver for months. Stay tuned for a future post on long term usage.
There are plenty of lower-specced phones that can handle day-to-day usage without hiccups, and they don’t cost $1000. But if money’s no object (and size is no problem), the Note 9 is a seriously powerful device with only a few minor disappointments—though we’ll have to wait for this year’s alternatives (the Pixel 3 XL and whatever Apple’s cooked up) to see if it really leads the pack.
