Fazit
Unerreicht durch die Konkurrenz ist derzeit die Schärfe des Displays. Auch die Software-seitigen Verbesserungen wie Multitasking und Ordner-Management bringen Pluspunkte. Musik-Player und Kamera sind ausgereift und super zu bedienen. Die Hotspot-Funktion ist Klasse, wenn sie denn vom Netzbetreiber unterstützt wird. Mit der Sprachqualität kommt das iPhone 4 auf mittlere Werte. Insgesamt ist das iPhone 4 ein gelungenes Smartphone mit hohem Spaßfaktor.

Apple's fourth-generation iPhone has finally arrived in Australia. Despite the criticism Apple has faced over its antenna design, the iPhone 4 has been well received down under. The phone possesses the best display we've seen on a smartphone and boasts a superbly constructed body that is head and shoulders above its competitors.

Despite antenna issues, Apple's iPhone 4 is definitely the best iPhone yet. Its superb design, outstanding display and excellent camera make it an ideal upgrade for owners of older Apple handsets and enticing for non-iPhone owners. Many competing smartphones can do more, but none of them do it in a manner that's as slick or polished as the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4 may well correct many flaws of the 3GS, but is it really the hottest new touchscreen mobile out there, setting new standards for others to follow? Well, yes, so long as you don't mind being tied to the restrictive world of iTunes. The high-definition screen, faultless speed and responsiveness, excellent picture quality, improved battery life, highly intuitive interface and great choice of applications, all make the iPhone 4 a truly excellent handset.

It's too early to give a definitive verdict on Apple iPhone OS 4. Suffice to say that the new additions are welcome add-ons to an already polished operating system. Das Apple iPhone 3GS, erhältlich in schwarz oder weiß in 16 oder 32 GB-Ausführung, schickt sich an, die Erfolgsstory des Vorgängers iPhone 3G fortzuschreiben. Allerdings hat die Konkurrenz nicht geschlafen - mit dem Nokia N97 mit 32 GB internem Speicher und dem Samsung i8910HD mit 8 oder 16 GB internem Speicher stellen sich zwei harte Konkurrenten dem neuen Star aus dem Hause Apple, der sich auch gegen das hausintern ältere Modell 3G in unserem großen Testbericht behaupten muss - viel Spaß beim Lesen.
Fazit
Ausgesprochen gut kann sich hier das N97 behaupten, das in rasender Schnelle die Kopfzeilen herunter lädt. Auch wenn es darum geht, komplette Mails mit Anhang herunterzuladen, agiert das Nokia flink. Hier aber kann sich auch die Konkurrenz sehr stark...
