The W1350 almost feels like a business projector that's not been changed quite enough. That said, its video processing is good, producing excellent Full HD detail and almost spot-on colours that lack only contrast and black levels. The result is an excellently cinematic image straight out of the box.

The BenQ W1350 is a decent compact projector with great speakers and excellent active shutter 3D. However, it sits in a slightly awkward price middleground that means paying £200 more (which, admittedly, is a fair whack more) will get you the Optoma HD50, which has frame interpolation technology for less judder. ...

BenQ has produced yet another excellent video projector. Brighter, and with even more accurate colours than the W1300, the W1350 also offers vertical lens shift. Add to all this its great value-for-money, and you've got a projector that'll find a home in many a living room.

The W1350 is capable of producing beautifully rich, clean and bright pictures, and the lengths it goes to to adapt itself to almost any room layout are admirable. Its charms are ultimately compromised, though, by a fan noise and a duo of potentially distracting picture flaws.
