Wäre das OnePlus One hierzulande verfügbar wie die Flaggschiffe von Sony, HTC und Co., gäbe es wohl keinen Zweifel daran, für welches Gerät man sich als künftiger Besitzer eines aktuellen High-End-Smartphones entscheiden dürfte. Unsere 64-GB-Version besitzt eine Sandstein-Rückseite die ein Merkmal der Individualität darstellt. Schließlich ist es das erste Smartphone mit dem angepassten Betriebssystem Caynogen-Mod, das auf Android 4.2.2 basiert. But at the price the OnePlus One is an amazing deal. It's a flagship smartphone for a mid-range price. Bargain. Get them while they are hot.

All in all the OnePlus One is an amazing device for the price. There are a few little issues, but nothing that should stop 99 per cent of people from buying one. It's just a pity actually obtaining one is such a pain - but that almost makes it a more alluring device....

The OnePlus One is not a perfect phone, but it competes with phones twice the price without serious caveats beyond limited 4G support. And for that reason, it's one of 2014's best phones.
