All in all, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is an excellent tablet. The screen is fabulous, performance and battery life are more than respectable, and the design is the very definition of svelte. Unfortunately for Samsung, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet offers even better performance and battery life – not to mention water-resistance. As a result, the Tab S narrowly misses out on a wholehearted recommendation.

Mit dem Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 haben es die Koreaner ohne Zweifel geschafft, ein exzellentes Tablet zu produzieren. Das Display sucht aktuell seinesgleichen und auch die restliche Ausstattung mit Octa-Core-Prozessor und WLAN ac hat es in sich. Der Verzicht auf NFC ist schade, aber zu verkraften. Unserer Meinung kann allerdings das Xperia Tablet Z2 mit einer etwas höherwertigen Verarbeitung punkten. ...

Hardware is decent, namely that impressive display and great battery life making this a consumption machine.
