Die Bose Noise-Cancelling Headphones 700, kurz NC 700, lösen die über lange Jahre sehr erfolgreiche Quiet-Comfort-Serie ab. Die Lärmreduzierung ist nach wie vor erstklassig, per Taste ist die Noise-Cancelling-Stärke anpassbar. Die Lautstärkeregleung klappt nun per Fingerwisch, die gesamte Konstruktion wirkt moderner. Die Ohrmuscheln klappern jedoch etwas an den Metallbügeln. Der Klang ist etwas klarer und detailreicher als bei den Vorgängern, aber immer noch ausgewogen und angenehm – gut so!
