Testberichte
- Flottes Business-Handy
- Intuitive Bedienung
- Gute Tastatur
- Kaum multimediatauglich
- Mittelmäßige Display-Auflösung
- Screen space and physical keyboard
- BB email is still great
- Design isn't great
- lots of lag
- browser crashes
- screen lock key is far too soft
- OS isn't as refined as rivals
The score says it all here. This phone is functionally good, with only a few niggles about its perfomance. The problem is, smartphones have evolved a great deal, while BlackBerry has stayed still. Our advice is to wait until the new OS is announced before taking the BlackBerry plunge
- Solid build quality
- Bright capacitive touchscreen
- Slide-out Qwerty keyboard
- BlackBerry OS 7 still needs work
- Camera hasn't been improved from the 9800
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is a classic example of a company subtly upgrading an existing device. It offers myriad improvements over the 9800, but doesn't go far enough in our opinion.
- Touchscreen and keyboard
- Less lag in the UI
- Improved camera
- Chunky design
- Needs more of an upgrade
- Battery
We were amazed when the Torch 9810 was unveiled by RIM, as it’s pretty much the same version of the phone we saw last year with a few tweaks. The enhanced processor and improved screen resolution are the most welcome of these though, making internet browsing and general operation much more like other leading smartphones. ...
- Admirable battery life
- Great screen
- Improved onscreen keyboard
- Unrivalled contacts management
- Great still camera with effective image stabilisation
- No Flash internet
- Video is fiddly to turn the light on
- Poor music loudspeaker compared to Bold 9900
- Not much difference to Torch 9800
- No NFC and only 5MP camera mean it's not massively future-proof
- schnelles Arbeitstempo
- hohe Displayauflösung
- 1,2-GHz-Prozessor
- UMTS
- HSPA
- EDGE
- WLAN
- GPS
- 8 GB interner Speicher
- Wechselspeicher
- etwas dickes Gehäuse
- Bedienung erfordert Einarbeitungszeit

- "The RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810 has a sharp, colorful, and responsive touch screen along with a full slide-out keyboard. BlackBerry OS 7 promises support for augmented-reality apps, voice-activated universal search, a new Liquid Graphics technology, an improved Web browser, and more. Other upgrades include a 1.2GHz processor and 720p HD video recording. It's very affordable."
- "The BlackBerry Torch 9810's design is very similar to its predecessor, with the same feature set as before."
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 won't wow newcomers with its tired old design, but its affordable price and much-improved specs should keep BlackBerry enthusiasts satisfied.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G doesn’t offer anything we haven’t seen before, but given that it’s an entry-level model this is perhaps to be expected. It’s certainly a great phone for emailing and text messaging and with GPS and 3G onboard it offers a decent feature set. However, it’s very awkward to use for web browsing and with Android touchscreen handsets now appearing on the market for around £100 on PAYG, we’re not quite sure there’s enough here to attract those new to the BlackBerry platform.

- schnelle Steuerung durch Trackpad und Tastatur
- ordentliche Verarbeitung
- gutes Bedienungkonzept
- starker E-Mail-Client
- WLAN-n
- BlackBerry 6 nur über Update
- unbrauchbare Fotokamera
- kein ordentlicher App Store
- wenige Neuerungen
- Sharp, curvaceous design
- Good QWERTY keyboard
- Excellent BlackBerry messaging tools
- Decent media player
- Low-res screen with poor vertical viewing angle
- No camera flash
- Web browser feels old
We've been calling for a 3G Curve and finally we have it. The Curve 3G is most of what we love about the Bold 9700 with a dash of media savvy thrown in for good measure.
Again we looked for a "Baby Bold", but this time we got a "Bold plus". The Curve 3G matches the Bold 9700 in most respects, but adds a little media savvy and Wireless N compatibility to a refined, curvaceous new look. The display is a lower resolution and there's no camera flash, but we don't imagine these shortcomings will upset anyone too much.
If you're looking for innovation and the next big thing in phones, the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 on Verizon isn't it. But if you're looking for a device that can handle e-mail, messaging, and run a decent amount of apps, this smart phone will get the job done. Plus, at $29.99 with a 2-year contract, the Curve 3G is one of the most affordable BlackBerrys ever. Is this handset right for you?
Those looking for a smart phone that does the basics well will like this BlackBerry's comfortable keyboard and very low price.
- Slim profile
- responsive optical trackpad
- external media keys
- Wi-Fi
- stereo Bluetooth
- GPS
- 3G
- 2-megapixel camera
- Almost identical to its predecessor save for a few changes
- poor photo quality
Even though we liked the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8520 that was released for T-Mobile last year, the lack of 3G and GPS was disappointing. Fortunately, RIM has rectified that with its successor, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300, which has support for T-Mobile's 3G network as well as GPS. It also offers a number of other improvements that we saw in the Curve 8530, like the 624MHz processor and 256MB internal memory.
hough we're disappointed that the RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G didn't have more improvements over its predecessor, it's still a decent upgrade with the addition of 3G and GPS. Plus, it's quite affordable for an entry-level smartphone.
RIM has kitted out its entry-level BlackBerry Curve smartphone with 3G connectivity. The BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone looks identical to the BlackBerry Curve 8520, but adds 3G and GPS capabilities.
RIM has added 3G connectivity and GPS to its entry-level Blackberry Curve, but everything else remains almost identical to the earlier model. This is yet another BlackBerry release that lacks a wow factor, but the upcoming BlackBerry 6 OS update should add a bit of spice to a recipe that is starting to taste a bit stale.
- gut reagierendes optisches Trackpad
- schlankes Design
- GPS
- UMTS mit HSPA
- mäßige Fotoqualität
- wenig Neuerungen
- Optical trackpad
- upgradeable to BlackBerry 6 OS
- best in class e-mail service
- BlackBerry App World
- Lacks wow factor
- lock/multimedia keys hard to press
- keyboard is smaller than other models
- low screen resolution
It has taken much longer than expected, but RIM has finally kitted out its entry-level BlackBerry Curve smartphone with 3G connectivity. The BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone looks identical to the BlackBerry Curve 8520, but adds 3G and GPS capabilities.

- Adds 3G and GPS to the Curve range
- Compact and familiar desig
- Runs BlackBerry OS 5 (OS 6 upgrade is on the way)
- Screen resolution could be higher
- Not a huge advance on the previous model
RIM is pitching its BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 at newcomers to the smartphone sector — at least, that's the implication from the press release announcing the product. Although the Curve 3G handles mobile email well — as you'd expect from BlackBerry — and adds 3G connectivity to the range, does it go far enough? ...
The BlackBerry Curve 3G is not a big advance. The screen resolution could be better, and we'd appreciate more internal memory. It brings the Curve range up to date, but would have more impact with BlackBerry OS 6 preinstalled.
- Great connectivity
- Dedicated music keys
- Will get updated to BlackBerry 6 OS
- Excellent email support
- Long battery life
- Unresponsive optical trackpad
- Pretty boring overall
- Requires a BlackBerry contract
- Apps tend to be fewer and pricier than those of competing platforms
The Curve 3G is definitely an improvement on the Curve 8520, thanks to its addition of 3G connectivity. We didn't complain about the lack of 3G on the 8520, because it offers Wi-Fi for when you need to do some serious Web surfing, and it's inexpensive.
The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is an uninspiring, but perfectly adequate, update to the Curve smart-phone range. Its 3G connectivity is a welcome addition, but a disappointingly unresponsive trackpad is a real letdown.
- Email service
- looks good
- connectivity
- comfortable for calling
- Low spec screen, camera and video
- doesn't sit comfortably in the hand
- keyboard edge tapering can cause one-handed typing issues
The BlackBerry Curve 3G (or 9300) is the newest handset from RIM, pitched at the entry-level, as confirmed by Mike Lazaridis, CEO: 'The majority of people in the worldwide mobile phone market have yet to buy their first smartphone and the BlackBerry Curve 3G is designed to provide an extremely attractive and accessible choice that will help convince many of them to make the leap'. ...
A year on from the 8520 and essentially you get GPS and 3G in the same bundle, which compared to rival handsets isn't anything to get excited about. Assuming the prices are as affordable as they were for the 8520 then it makes sense, but there are hardware shortcomings
