Zusammenfassung
Das Asus K70IC ist ein Multimedia-17-Zöller für knapp 700 Euro. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt es so, als ob Asus beweisen möchte, dass auch im unteren Mittelfeld der Preisgestaltung ein ansprechendes Design und ordentliche Ausstattung möglich sind. Wir haben das große Multimedia-Book in unserem ausführlichen Test auf seine Stärken und Schwächen abgeklopft.
Fazit
Nein, ein portables Gerät ist das K70IC nun wirklich nicht: Das Gewicht treibt einem schon beim Lesen den Schweiß auf die Stirn und die Akkulaufzeiten sind eher für einen schnellen Cafébesuch als eine lange Zugfahrt geeignet. Wer allerdings darauf ohnehin nicht viel Wert legt und einfach nur einen soliden Entertainer mit ein bisschen Spielepower und Hingucker-Qualitäten sucht, der sollte beim Asus K70IC hellhörig werden...

Beim Asus K70 bekommen Sie gemessen am Preis eine gute Rechen- und 3D-Leistung, eine ordentliche Ausstattung sowie ein überdurchschnittliches Display. Zum idealen PC-Ersatz fehlen dem K70 eine bessere Tastatur und mehr Schnittstellen. Doch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.

Das ASUS K70AB ist ein 17-Zoll-Notebook für Einsteiger. D.h. bei einem Preis für unter 600 Euro müssen Interessenten Abstriche machen. Das gilt insbesondere für das Display, welches beim Kontrast und der Leuchtstärke enttäuscht, und für die Ausstattung. So müssen Nutzer auf Bluetooth oder einen Expresskartenschacht verzichten. ..."
