Das Abspecken des etwas großzügiger ausgestatteten AT300 hat dem AT300SE nicht geschadet. Übrig bleibt aber nicht nur "der praktische Begleiter für Ihren Alltag", von dem Toshiba in seinen Werbeaussagen spricht. The AT300SE is nice enough to navigate, but with a less than durable finish, uninspiring video and Toshiba dropping ports such as microHDMI, it just doesn’t represent great value for money. We’d recommend trying a smaller tab or spending more on the Google Nexus 10.

If you already took a closer look at the Toshiba AT300 but were not willing to pay 449 Euros (RRP) then you should consider the successor. The AT300SE, which looks the same, is equipped with almost identical hardware. Differences can be found with the worse main camera, the bigger size and the higher weight. If these details are not important for your purchase decision you will be satisfied with the AT300SE. Thanks to the fast NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC, the bright display and the long battery runtime Toshiba themselves created the biggest competitor. ...

The Toshiba AT300 is a great tablet in some aspects, such as design and performance. But there are also a few issues with the finishing that seem out of place coming from a brand like Toshiba. On the upside, the Tegra 3 is tried and proven, and the highly practical (and ever-rare) SD/SDXC memory card reader should make at least a few people happy.
