Fazit
Günstig, aber wenig vielseitig. Nutzt Farbkombipatronen, also keine Einzelfarbtanks. Patronen in mehreren Größen erhältlich. Bedienung nur ausreichend. Mit 2 Kilogramm Gewicht der leichteste Drucker im Test.

The advantage of doing without scanner, copier and all those extra features is that it keeps the price of your printer down, and the Deskjet 1000’s current price of just £19.99 is hard to beat.
Fazit
If you really don’t need a multifunction printer then the very low price tag of the Deskjet 1000 is undoubtedly attractive. Just remember that the higher running costs could mount up over time, so look elsewhere if you’re likely to be using your printer every day.

Having recently looked at the most expensive ink-jet printer HP sells, the Photosmart eStation, we thought we’d go to the other end of the spectrum and test out the company’s cheapest machine. The Deskjet 1000 is widely available from PC World, to Tesco and to a number of online specialists, at prices down to £30, making it just about the least expensive entry to inkjet printing
Fazit
Although the black print cost is quite high and the Deskjet 1000 can be a bit noisy, it’s still amazingly good value for £30. It prints text and graphics adequately and reasonably quickly, particularly if you switch to the surprisingly high-quality draft mode. If money is tight, or you’re buying a second printer, perhaps for your children to use for school work, this is a very good choice.
