Samsung GALAXY TabPRO 8.4 WLAN schwarz

• ✓Bright screen with natural colours
• ✓Good reading comfort
• ✓Decent camera
• ✓Good finish
• ✓Lightweight

• ✓grandioses Super-AMOLED-Display (+0.5%)
• ✓ultraflach und handlich
• ✓schnell
• ✓gute Vollausstattung

• ✓Gorgeous Super AMOLED screen
• ✓Thinner and lighter than the iPad Mini
• ✓Easy to hold with one hand
• ✓MicroSD card support

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a very impressive small tablet with a thin and light design combine with a large screen. That display is gorgeous but Samsung's SuperAMOLED isn't for everyone. There's a lot of tech packed into this device, such as the fingerprint scanner and IR blaster, but while it price-matches the iPad mini you will have to pay more for it than rival Android tablets such as the Nexus 7.

...Aside from the battery issues, the Galaxy Tab Pro is a decent device—its display is pretty good, it's very light, and has full access to Google's Play Store. However, costing $399.99 in its base configuration, it's not terribly cheap...

• ✓Slim and light
• ✓Fast
• ✓Great battery life
• ✓Incredible screen

• ✓Light, well-balanced design
• ✓Gorgeous display with high pixel density
• ✓Useful mix of software and UI tweaks

• ✓Super Display
• ✓viel CPU Power

• ✓Starke Leistung
• ✓Brillantes Display
• ✓Schlankes Gehäuse
• ✓Sehr gute Verarbeitung

Audio quality aside, I'm quite a fan of the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4. It's a good size to carry and hold, has top-notch specifications, and most of Samsung's software tweaks are useful. The £349/$399.99 price is a little prohibitive, though: both the Google Nexus 7 (£199/$229 for 16GB/wi-fi-only) and the iPad mini with Retina Display (£319/$399 for 16GB/wi-fi-only) should be in the mix when you're comparing alternative small form-factor tablets.
