By the end of 2014 the Wii U could be a four-star console. As for now, it remains a unique gaming machine with a lot of potential still waiting to be tapped into.

It may not be super powerful, but Nintendo delivers a fun and innovative new console that finally gets online right.

Still, putting the question of its long term appeal aside, we'll say that the Wii U is, for now at least, the most interesting console on the market, and we wholeheartedly recommend that any gamer with some excess cash should check it out.
