It has excellent media playback quality, thousands of applications and download-able from App Store that made it one great portable internet and gaming device l. Its price tag is not for everyone but if you are not tight on budget, it is the best option out there for multiple function device.

The new iPod Touch does not come cheap with the base 8GB version starting from Rs. 15,400, but its new display, faster processor, HD video recording capable camera and many of the iPhone's features made it an excellent choice if you're looking for a PMP not just for media playback.

You'd be hard pushed to find a portable media player to match the iPod touch when it comes to packing in features. The device is now slimmer than ever and eBooks and games look absolutely brilliant. However, camera quality could be better and slow connection speeds are annoying.

The most obvious update is the screen. This is now the same resolution as the one on the iPhone 4 (960x640 pixels), offering four times the total pixels compared to the previous model. This becomes most noticeable when you look at the icons on the home screen. For the apps where the developer has taken the time to make a higher resolution icon, the edges are much smoother.
Fazit
A high-resolution screen and video calling just made the best better, but we'd recommend an iPhone 4 if you can afford it.
