[...] Project CARS does a lot of things right: it looks stupendous and its handling model is, for the most part, very good. However, the tedium of racing against AI halfwits, getting your force feedback settings just right and the half-baked career and online modes take away from the enjoyment. Right now, buyers will feel more Try-hard than Coulthard.

[...] Der Fokus liegt ganz klar auf den Rennen und hier sind euch praktisch keine Grenzen gesetzt. Eine spannend erzählte Geschichte solltet ihr jedoch nicht erwarten und auch der Fuhrpark wirkt im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz eher unbeeindruckend. Wer noch ein Lenkrad für seinen PC oder seine Konsole im Schrank hat, hat nun jedenfalls einen ernsthaften Grund selbiges wieder hervorzuholen.

Rennsimulationen wie Assetto Corsa oder iRacing überzeugen mit authentischer Fahrphysik und vielen Einstellungen. Project CARS jedoch bietet mehr als das, denn der Mix aus Optik, Physik und dem Umfang bilden ein Gesamterlebnis, das in dem Genre seinesgleichen sucht. [...]

Mit Project Cars rast das erste richtig gute Rennspiel 2015 durch unseren Test. Fantastische Grafik mit 60 FpS auf allen Plattformen sowie zahlreiche detailgetreue Rennstrecken und Fahrzeuge können neben dem tollen Fahrgefühl voll überzeugen. Einzig die Menüführung ist gerade auf dem PC ein nerviger Bremsklotz.

[...] Dazu noch die beeindruckende Detailversessenheit sowohl bei der Technik als auch beim Fahrverhalten und fertig ist ein Rennspiel, das sich einen Dauerplatz auf meiner Festplatte gesichert hat. Es hat lange gedauert, aber das Ergebnis überzeugt.

Project Cars ist eine sehr gute Simulation für Rennspielbegeisterte, die nur bei Inszenierung und Modiauswahl kleinere Schwächen hat.
