Für seinen äußerst günstigen Preis bietet das Moto E eine ordentliche Ausstattung. Es hat ein für diese Preisklasse gutes Display, ist flott und kommt mit der neuesten Android-Version. Abstriche müssen Käufer aber beim Speicher, der Akkulaufzeit, der Verarbeitung und ganz besonders der Kamera hinnehmen.

It´s not powerful and the camera is poor, but the Moto E offers a good baseline smartphone experience if the Moto G is that bit too expensive for your wallet.

Ein vollwertiges Smartphone für 119 Euro, der Straßenpreis könnte sich sogar noch darunter einpendeln - das muss Motorola erst mal jemand nachmachen! Dabei ist das Moto E nicht einmal schlecht ausgestattet, denn es hat das aktuellste Android, einen ordentlichen Akku und läuft angenehm flüssig. Das Fehlen von LTE und NFC kann man verschmerzen, die schlechte Kamera wohl auch. Ärgerlicher sind da schon das zu dunkle Display und der geringe interne Speicher.
