The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming can play modern titles in full HD, boasts amazing battery life, and is priced very aggressively. It's difficult to find a better deal in a budget gaming laptop.

This big Inspiron 2-in-1 is a bit of a tough recommendation, even though I think that Dell's made a fine product for a palatable price. For me, the biggest dealbreaker is that the 15-inch Inspiron just too big to be of use as a credible 2-in-1. I also felt like HP's Spectre X360 was also too big in its 15-inch guise. [...]

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 offers great entertainment value and decent battery life behind a gorgeous display, even when it feels slow (and hot).

The lower end models offer great build quality and good value for the price. The high end $1,449 UHD 4K model with SSD and 16 gigs of RAM used for this review isn't as great a value when you can get more powerful laptops at that price. Still, it has a classy chassis, excellent build quality and serviceable internals, which earn points back.
