Acer is the first manufacturer to match Surface Pro 4's higher end performance offerings, though Acer doesn't offer the highest end configuration options that Microsoft does like 16 gigs of RAM or Intel Iris Pro graphics. That said, for mainstream users looking for a powerful 12" Windows tablet, the Acer Switch Alpha 12 warrants strong consideration if you can live with the 5 to 5.5 hour battery life with light to moderate use.
