Das Gerät basiert wie fast alle Mitbewerber-Geräte auf „Android 3.0 Honeycomb“ und wird über eine 10,1 Zoll große WXGA-Touchscreen-Oberfläche gesteuert. Die Auflösung beträgt 1280 x 800 Bildpunkte, die Bilddiagonale umgerechnet 25,7 Zentimeter und damit genauso viel wie beim Apple iPad 2. Auch die Hardware-Basis des Packard Bell Liberty Tab G100 ist altbekannt: Für die Rechenleistung sorgen ein Nvidia Tegra 250-Prozessor mit zwei Kernen (2 x 1 GHz) sowie 1 GB DDR3 Arbeitsspeicher...
Fazit
Das Packard Bell Liberty Tab G100 schneidet unter dem Strich deutlich besser ab, als man es zunächst vermuten könnte. Zwar liefert der Hersteller ein typisches „Me 2“-Produkt ohne nennenswerte Innovation. Angesichts des günstigen Preises und der ordentlichen Gesamtausstattung ist dies aber gut verschmerzbar.
