Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8GB
Testberichte
- Very low price
- Decent battery life
- Plenty of storage
- Ad-riddled interface
- Basic nagivation a little slow
- Very poor cameras
Perhaps the best sub-£100 tablet, as long as you can stomach the heavy-handed Amazon software.
- Bright screen
- crisp video
- lightweight design
- Music could have better timing
- no Google Play
If you don`t mind the Amazon hard sell, this a good budget tablet that balances its comprimises cleverly
Unless your're reading this review because you've spotted the HD 8 or 10 in a sale, they're not great value at full price. ...
- Sturdy construction
- Thin, light body
- Bodacious, Dolby Atmos-enhanced speakers
- MicroSD slot
- ...
- Lock-screen ads cost extra to remove
- Battery life is average at best
- Narrow, wide-screen aspect ratio makes for less-than-optimal portrait mode
- No HDMI out
Though far from the most powerful, highest-resolution slate on the market, the HD 8 is a serviceable, fairly priced tablet for Amazon fans and Prime subscribers.
Amazon's low-cost Fire HD8 tablet is the ideal companion to Amazon Prime. With Prime membership, you can use the tablet to watch movies and TV shows on the move, as well as streaming music, playing games and using popular apps. You can try Prime free for 30 days. More demanding users, or anyone who doesn't have a Prime subscription, will find the device limiting.
- "Affordable. Lots of available content. Unlimited cloud storage (for Amazon media). MicroSD card slot."
- "Unimpressive hardware and form factor. Occasional slowdown. "
The Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet doesn't have a slick design or top-of-the-line performance, but a revamped Fire OS, access to Amazon's vast content library, and an affordable price make up for it.
- Sehr komfortable Bedienung,
- gutes Display, günstiger Preis
- Keine Kamera, kein Speicherkartenslot,
- Amazon-lastig
Tablet für Einsteiger mit ordentlicher Performance, sehr einfacher Bedienung und gutem Display.
The Fire HD feels like a step backwards from the model it replaces: there's no camera, no HDMI output, half the storage and shorter battery life. It's faster, though, and has a slicker operating system which is now child friendly thanks to FreeTime. You're still limited to Amazon's app store which lacks the choice you get with Google Play, but it still makes a great kids' tablet.
The Kindle Fire HD wasn't the best 7in tablet when it launched in 2012, and even at the new lower price, it can't really compete with newcomers including Tesco's Hudl. The Fire HD locks you into Amazon's world, which still lacks the breadth of choice compared with Google Play.
- "The Kindle Fire (2012) improves on its predecessor in three key ways: faster performance, a better interface with cool new features, and a significant price reduction."
- "Designwise it's the same Fire from 2011 with no HD video support, no camera, no HDMI, no storage expansion, and no volume buttons."
The Kindle Fire (2012) takes it up a notch in value, but is tethered to the same design oversights of the original.
The Kindle Fire isn’t really a Kindle (choose an E-Ink model for reading) and is a unique iPad alternative – for a one-stop media powerhouse, the Kindle Fire is fun to use and is full of potential that needs to be realised.
- Seamless experience with Amazon's digital content services
- great Web browser
- curated Android app store includes must-have apps
- ultra-affordable price tag
- exceptional screen for its price.
- Lacks 3G, cameras, microphone, GPS and location services
- paltry 8GB internal storage
- no Bluetooth
- limited parental control
- fewer apps than Apple's or Google's app stores
- screen could be brighter.
Though it lacks the tech specs found on more expensive Apple and Android tablets, the US$199 Kindle Fire is an outstanding entertainment value that prizes simplicity over techno-wizardry.
- Preisgünstig
- Ausgezeichnete Verbindung zu Amazon-Diensten
- Ausgezeichneter Bildschirm mit Gorilla Glas
- Gute Lautsprecher
- Akzeptable Leistung
- Akzeptable Akkulaufzeit
- Wenig bis keine Extra-Features
- Keine Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten
- Bildschirm kann für einige zu klein sein
- Kein haptisches Feedback
- Keine eigenständigen Home/Back Tasten
