  Fazit: "Das Dell Inspiron 11z warf Fragen auf: Ist es ein Subnotebook oder ein Netbook? Die Größe lässt das Inspiron 11z in beide Kategorien fallen. Der Intel Pentium SU4100 Prozessor ist allerdings der Grund, warum wir das Mini-Notebook in der Subnotebook-Kategorie testen. ..."

"The Dell Inspiron 11z notebook has a low price tag, a thin profile and an 11.6in screen — it could easily be mistaken for an Intel Atom–powered netbook. Its dual-core Pentium processor is significantly more powerful than a netbook's CPU, and its high-resolution 1366x768 screen makes it a good choice for Web browsing and viewing high-definition videos."
  Thin and light despite reasonable processing power; high resolution display
  Poor touchpad design; glossy screen is annoying and has minor backlight issues
  Fazit: "Dell's entry-level Inspiron 11z notebook has significantly more power than similar sized Atom netbooks but remains thin and light. A good display and reasonable keyboard size make it easy to use; the multitouch trackpad is our main point of annoyance."

"In spite of a configuration that puts it pretty much in the entry-level ultra range, the price and dimensions of the Dell Inspiron 11z put it closer to the netbook category. ..."
  Nice finish; Satisfying performance levels (dual core); Keyboard comfortable to use ; Good autonomy; Plays HD video
  Poor quality panel (contrast of 152:1!); Glossy panel and black plastic; The battery sticks out the back; Imprecise touchpad
  Fazit: "The Dell Inspiron 11z positions itself opposite the high-end of the netbook range thanks to some very aggressive pricing. Performance is very satisfying for the category. Unfortunately however, the glossy panel is particularly bad here and it's a shame that the battery sticks out so much as this affects portability. You need to watch the pricing on this model, as this is determined by the configuration you go for from Dell!"
