Der Logitech UE Air Speaker ist ein guter AirPlay-Lautsprecher, der iOS-Geräten echten Premium-Sound entlockt. Schnäppchenjäger sollten sich dagegen Alternativen wie beispielsweise die mobilen Bluetooth-Lautsprecher Bose SoundLink oder SuperTooth Disco anschauen, die einen fast genauso guten Klang bieten und sogar mobil einsetzbar sind, aber bereits für 270 oder 120 Euro erhältlich sind.

Logitech has taken a gamble moving into a more expensive pricepoint, but we’re pleased to say it’s paid off. The UE is a superb AirPlay speaker dock and a great option for wireless music.
If you own an iOS device and you're looking for a simple and easy solution to play your music in the home, you should definitely consider the Logitech UE Air Speaker. However, given its high price tag, the UE Air Speaker's audio quality is a little disappointing. This is certainly not a bad speaker system, but merely a good one that's a little overpriced.

Ultimately, we are disappointed in the Logitech UE Air Speaker. This is, after all, not only Logitech's first AirPlay Speaker, but the first time that the well-regarded Ultimate Ears brand - the 'UE' bit in the name - that it bought in 2008 has been applied to a speaker dock. There is nothing wrong with it that knocking a hundred off the price wouldn't fix, and if you find a store selling it for under £200/$300 before the end of 2012, it's worth picking up. That, though, is damming with faint praise.
