Testberichte
- "The Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 delivers fast shooting performance and very good photo and movie quality in a slim package with a wide, long lens."
- "The SZ7's battery life could be better, and its pictures probably won't thrill pixel peepers."
A speedy little camera with a long lens, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 performs beyond its tiny price tag.
- Slim body
- Long 10x zoom lens
- 1080p video capture
- Soft images
- Limited LCD viewing angle
A slim camera with an impressive 10x zoom lens, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-SZ7 still struggles with image sharpness and detail at higher ISO settings.
Sehr gute Farbwiedergabe. Verwacklungsschutz gerade noch annehmbar. Eindruck im Sehtest: noch gut.
The Lumix DMC-SZ7 is a small camera, but it has a big lens that makes it a versatile camera. Its picture quality is good, its ease of use is high and it's a great little compact camera to carry with you in your pocket for all sorts of events, and even on a daily basis.
- 10x zoom
- small size
- point-and-shoot ease of use
- Poor viewing angle on LCD screen, point-and-shoot
- poor battery life
The SZ7 delivers on its "stylish zoom" promise - it looks decent, takes good pictures for the most part and the sizeable 10x optical zoom is a credit to have in such a small body size. However the poor LCD viewing angle and limited battery life are issues that can’t be ignored. ...
- Full 1080p HD video recording
- Good amount of zoom in compact body
- AWB performs well
- Fast focusing
- Panoramic mode
- Limited number of shots in continuous shooting modes
- One of the more expensive 10x optical zoom compacts
The Panasonic Lumix SZ-7 has a decent amount of zoom packed into a compact body, making it an ideal camera for taking on your holidays as it is very easy to carry around. The zoom can be extended using intelligent zoom and the camera takes a decent picture, ...
- Long, 10x wide-angle zoom lens in a compact body
- Good overall image and video quality, particularly for web use or small prints
- Sharp Leica lens
- Screen is difficult to see in direct sunlight and off-axis
- Can't actually shoot its stated 10 frames per second
- Image quality deteriorates over ISO 400
Although the feature set does help as much as hinder the performance of the SZ7, the end result is decent enough to use it as a holiday compact.
- ordentliche Videoqualität
- kurze Auslöseverzögerung
- guter Bildstabilisator
- wenige manuelle Einstellmöglichkeiten
Testergebnis: gut (2,46); Preisurteil: angemessen
More Photos The Panasonic Lumix SZ7 is an easy-to-use 14.3MP ultracompact digital camera with a 10x optical zoom. The twin highlights of the Panasonic Lumix SZ7 are undoubtedly its larger than average zoom and super-fast AF performance. Image quality is reasonable enough, and certainly on a par with the competition, at least when shooting at lower sensitivities and viewing the results on a laptop-sized screen, or as a 6x4in print. However, the combination of a small, densely populated sensor and some aggressive JPEG processing doesn’t produce particularly clean images at higher sensitivities.
- Small body
- Responsive
- Long zoom
- Inexpensive
- Some noise on overcast images
- Very slight colour fringing in some instances
The Panasonic DMC-SZ7's small size gives little hint to the impressive lens, decent resolution and quality video features packed within. At £200, it's a keenly priced, feature-packed snapper that's perfect for everyday use.
